Sharrod Ford, pen name Axel Sia, was born on the Lower East Side
of Manhattan. It’s through his love for Fantasy and Sci-fi, beginning
with Star Wars, that he began to play table top role playing games at the age
of 15. Sharrod has been GMing Role Playing Games since the age of 16 and
began DMing D&D at the age of 19. A few years later he participated
in a game DMed by Adrian Garcia. A childhood friend from the Lower East Side.
A few years later Adrian introduced him to Dungeonborn and invited Sharrod to
write for his setting of the Grand Realm. Sharrod was reluctant at first to
write for this new setting, but the ideas of writing his own adventures and
tales was hard to pass up - he needed a partner in crime.
One day, Sharrod Ford visited Juan to discuss an idea for creating a story within the Grand Realms - another great Dungeon Master in the Lower East Side. Sharrod knew that Juan had an appreciation for story telling, and joined the project – Tales of Vinlar was born.
Sharrod Ford’s creativity grew in the practice of DMing, writing, and imagination convinced Adrian that he could take on a bigger role with Dungeonborn as an editor, content creator, and eventually business partner.
Since then, other offshoots have been created from the creative minds of Sharod Ford, and Adrian Garcia, with support from Andrew Martinez. Other fantasy and sci-fi setting have been established as well as a superhero game called, Dynaverse, which Sharrod Ford primarily focuses on. From this game, potential comic books are in production.
