Episode 1 - Meal before the Lesson

Your tale begins on the morning of Saafi, as the Yal kuuv rises from the East, bringing forth its rays of light, you make your way to the Careen to meet with your friends for breakfast before lessons. You walk the street of Yakem Straight, past the road of Hekrim, where shopkeepers prepare their goods to sell for the people of Ty'er Ra'Kuunijin. 

The warm air brushes your face with sand from the road. Harsh this land can be, nothing can compare to the lovely morning meal awaiting for you at the Careen. That will take the gloom of the hot wind and sand. You can only imagine the smells as your taste buds flare for wanting Est' iit sausage and Rak' eei eggs. The ivory milky color yolk tastes amazing with a touch Anii' Fik spice.  

Making your way to the Careen, you pass building after building, street after street, while folks who know you and your family, greet you with a morning blessing. 

"May the Yal kuuv rise for you each day", are the words said by the People of the Sand. How much you welcome this blessing. 

You grab your bag, remembering that although you delight in having a great morning meal, you have an assignment to complete with your fueii mates. You are excited to share your studies on the creation of a Water Irrigation plan that can help your people increase their produce for Ty'er Ra'Kuunijin. Your friends, Aturii, Rekell, Tesurr, & Toreinna, will be meeting you at the Careen.

You believe this idea can be your dream come true. In life, following your dreams are no different than being on an adventure. 

You walk past a cart, and people talking as you make your way to the Careen. As you approach the stairs to the Careen, a tall man sits on a barrel, looking in your direction. You do not recognize him, but the clothing is of the Bawaii Nuu - a group of sacred warriors called upon at a very young age, to preserve the culture and history for our blood - the People of the Sand. You and your friends are students of one of these Feuun, but you do not recognize him.

What do you do?
